The biggest update since the release. A new "high-difficulty" campaign mode is now available, with new bosses and alien formations!
It's very challenging even for veteran players. Please give it a try๐ฅ

Another very minor update to my game, we now have a light that illuminates around the player at night (and eventually caves and other dark areas too!). It has a bit of a flicker to it as well to make it seem more like a lantern light.
The event is Done!
It was snowing outside but many people came to visit and tried my game. It was a lot of fun ๐
I'm going to exhibit Zenvader at Tokyo Game Dungeon 11 (Feb 8), an indie game event for small developers in Japan.
If you happen to live in the Tokyo area, come to say hi!

Sorry Bluesky. I don't open you so often, but I still like you...
Released a game on Steam for the first time.
It's a super retro roguelite shooting game, heavily inspired by classic games such as Space Invaders.
If you're a fan of simple games from the 80s, please check it out!

Try printing out the objIndex and see if you're getting the number correctly. Also, make sure object names are correctly set. If names are not matched, picking doesn't work.
The keys can be picked up without setting it solid so probably something is wrong in your checkObject method! Solid areas just determine if it stops character movements. You should still be able to get the index of the item even if it's not solid.
TwigWallder, a viewer of my channel recently released an old-school Rogue-like game on itch.io!

It's a $2.99 game but currently on sale and you can get it for free. If you're interested, please check it out!
It sounds like the attack input is recognized but not correctly set off. Follow the movement of your key input and see what's being wrong. If you still can't figure it out, I'd recommend rolling back your code until the point the issue doesn't happen then try implementing it again.
