B2B: Teams handle requests from clients. They manage complex needs. Product managers join sales calls. They build more features to go deeper with each client.
B2B and B2C product management are two different games.
Know which one you’re playing.
And play to win
10/10
#product #productmanagement
B2B: Product marketing is a big job. You must teach users how to get value. Training, demos, and support are key.
𝟵) 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗗𝗼
B2C: Teams focus on user behavior. They look for patterns in data. They build features users will love, even if users never ask for them. Simplicity wins.
9/10
B2B: Users are experts. They know their needs. You can trust their feedback more. Deep interviews matter.
𝟴) 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴
B2C: The product must be self-explanatory. Users onboard themselves. Marketing is about showing value fast.
8/10
B2B: Testing is hard. Fewer users mean less data. You rely on feedback, case studies, and client stories. Change is slower.
𝟳) 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀
B2C: Users may not know what they want. They ask for small changes. You must read between the lines.
7/10
B2B: Sales teams drive growth. They push for new features to close deals. Hitting targets is everything. Product managers work closely with sales.
𝟲) 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀
B2C: You run lots of AB tests. Data is everywhere. You can see what works fast. Decisions are data-driven.
