MONSTER TRUCK MISHAP! 😲 A tire flew off a monster truck in Bremerton, WA this weekend at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds. The tire went over the fence and into the parking lot, crushing spectators' cars. Thankfully, no one was hurt.

Major closure of northbound I-405 in the Renton area after a semi truck rolled and caught fire.

There have been at least 9 crashes on I-405 in the Renton/Bellevue area in the past 2 hours, likely due to icy conditions.

Single digit temperatures are difficult to achieve in the greater Seattle area. The last time we did it was in 1989, when Seattle hit 7°. This is a look at the coldest temperatures the past 11 years in Seattle.

The high temperature would get to 20° that day, but then plummet to the second coldest temperature ever recorded of 1° on the morning of February 1. Green Lake and parts of Gig Harbor were frozen over. There were even icy spots on Puget Sound (see the pic below from Washington State Ferries).

A magnitude 7.0 earthquake 60 miles off the coast of Eureka, California at has prompted a Tsunami Warning for the southern Oregon coast and the northern and central California coast this morning. This was NOT a Cascadia Subduction Zone earthquake, but it is a strong one!
