Per the Texas Democratic Party, nearly a third of Williamson and Dallas County voters are being turned away when they try to vote due to confusion over polling locations, caused by Republicans opting not to hold countywide unified Joint Primaries.

I would say it was not as complete as the finalists above.

I’m going to put this nicely but hopefully you can read through the lines here - San Antonio did not put together a particularly robust bid and got eliminated from contention.

I’ve been a longtime unironic Vegas supporter, but it hasn’t made it particularly deep in the bidding process for some time.

Yep, absolutely. The “convention bump” is way overblown, if it even exists at all.

One of the reasons I am favoring Denver is due to it being the furthest west, which is beneficial for keeping the show running on time for prime time TV.

They ran into some Red State Problems last time they bid, plus had the lowest and most spread out hotel stock. We will see if things are different for this bid!

I have Boston as a very favorable choice, without having had the chance to do a real deep dive into the bids just yet.

Chair Martin made it clear when running (as did basically every other Chair candidate) that he wasn’t running to put his state in the front of the line for either the Convention or Primary. So I suspect they did not even bid.

I, personally, am leaning Denver, due to it being the farthest west city, and am leaning against Chicago and Philly due to recency, but I’ll solidify those feelings after we get better deep dives into the bids.
