I really hope it’s something manageable or miraculously resolves itself because my wife is already expecting to lose a parent this year. It wouldn’t be fair to her if something happened to me too.
So the plan is to apply for whatever insurance I can in the midst of all the other stuff on my plate, try to get a policy as fast as possible, then make an appointment with the pcp I saw *once* two years ago after over a decade of no checkups.
I’ve been raw dogging diy without labs for over a year and managing life ok. Now I happen to finally be properly broke at the exact moment something goes noticeably wrong with my health and could become expensive fast :)

VS Code just closed itself. When I reopened it none of my project history was there, my tabs were gone, my terminal was closed, it gave me the welcome shpiel, and it tried to turn Copilot features on without asking, *twice* (I had to uncheck it). I use this software every day for 12+ hours. >:(
