The issue doesn't seem to be heat related as the temps are around 50 C (it can get up to 70 C when its hot in my room tho) and the BSOD happens shortly after I turn the laptop on every morning, not when it's super hot or running for too long...I did think about replacing the thermal paste though orz

I need a very smart gamer to tell me if the BIOS update should have a diff version name instead of the same version name with a different release date? Does this mean I need to update bc the release date in the MSI site says 2021/03/26 but my BIOS build is 2021/03/05 but both are E17G3IMS.110 RAHHH

Not sure what I did when troubleshooting but it got worse tonight, I get the BSOD every 10 minutes now orz

Also my laptop isnt creating minidump files, so I can't really run them through BlueScreenViewer orz I dont remember the last time I had to troubleshoot so much

Already checked CrystalDiskInfo and the health status was good! Updating the BIOS is my last resort, because i'd rather have a bunch of annoying BSOD crashes than completely bricking my laptop 😭 Maybe I shouldn't be so scared to update it but there's power outages randomly in my house

I really don't have time to do yet another factory reset either but I doubt that will solve the problem anyway 😭

Windows 10, last factory reset I did was back in 2024 which ironically became the point where things started getting worse for my laptop LOL

I've done that a few times already, I've been dealing with the same BSOD error for a while now but they randomly stop 😭 Last time it was happening a bunch was back in January but then it stopped one day! Then I was gone last week for a few days and when I returned home it started happening again orz

Nothing strenuous at all, I only ever have discord/opera/clip studio open but in some cases the BSOD happens minutes after I turn it on with nothing else open 🥺

I know updating the BIOS might fix it but Im scared I'll brick it bc I have so much work to do atm and cant buy a whole new laptop 😭
