A year ago today I was elected to be Member of Parliament for my home, Hamilton and Clyde Valley.

Locally and nationally, I’m proud of what we’ve achieved so far and starting my second year ready to keep delivering on our promise of change.

Our Armed Forces put their lives on the line for us every day.

It was a pleasure to meet Al Carns, Minister for Veterans, to hear about what the government is doing to support military families.

Thank you to all who serve.

I'm delighted that we have made contact with the owners of the old DWP building in Lanark and work has begun to make it safe.

Thank you to everyone who has been in touch about this, you are absolutely right to expect better of our town centre.

What a pleasure today to be at the Kirkin’ of the Lord Cornet Elect as Lanimer celebrations kick off in Lanark.

The highlight of the church service for me was the beautiful singing by pupils of St Mary’s. A really wonderful morning. ⛪️
