Begging and pleading for someone to 4K scan Hashire Melos (best quality edition is a laserdisc) and for it and Rainbow Fireflies to get a western release.

I was so tremendously scared when they originally announced the anime that they would screw it up.

Only for them to make one of the best anime adaptations period.

Folks aren't ready for the next arc. Hell, I'm not if they improve it like they've done for the rest thus far!!

My coworker who reads it too is far more frustrated than I am (I am not) with the current events of the manga lol.

I haven't read whatever this week has in store (assuming there is a chapter) but I do know and can empathize a *bit* with the frustration that the main duo haven't meaningfully interacted with each other much for like a year+ worth of chapters, after being so close beforehand. That's a bit lame.

Trigun Stampede was quite good, so I think the shift in director/writer really hurt this sequel, particularly the limited runtime to speedrun an alternate take on Trigun Maximum did not help either.

Either way, fun to see Vash and the gang again, but certainly not the best circumstances to do so.
