Die Erde als Sichel mit der runden Seite oben und trotz des offenbar starken Teleobjektivs erkennbar weit weg, überwiegend blau mit weißen Wolken. Eigentlich dieselbe eindrucksvolle Szene wie auf dem ersten Foto. Nur hier längst nicht so stark herangezoomt. So sieht man hier ganze obere Hälfte des Mondes, der zum unteren Bildrand immer dunkler wird. Oben links direkt überm Horizont die blau-weiße Erdsichel.
