“He cheated on the golf course. He cheated on his taxes. He cheated on his wives. He cheated the business contractors he stiffed. He tried to cheat in the 2020 election. And now he’s trying to cheat on the 2026 midterms - because he knows he can’t win.”

Easy. It is spite. As Americans, we would rather have vengeful emotions dictate our actions and policy rather than rational thought.

Every dollar Jimmy Panetta votes to send to overseas conflicts is a dollar taken from our schools, our roads, and our healthcare.

Not only is he accepting hundreds of thousands from the war lobby, he is authoring the legislation that keeps us in endless cycles of violence.

GO ... BANG ... ON ... THE ... DOORS ... OF ... CONGRESS! Show me this is the most important thing in our existence by being the first in the door.

If people can sleep overnight waiting for concert tickets or a Black Friday sale, you can do the same to get in and demand a vote.

Last year, while the billionaire class became much richer as the working class struggled to survive, Trump gave a $1 trillion tax break to the 1% and paid for it by throwing 15 million Americans off the health care they desperately need.

This year, while Trump and Netanyahu started a war in Iran, the president wants to increase military spending by $500 billion and pay for that war by reducing funding for childcare, health care, affordable housing and other domestic needs.

This is what Trump’s agenda is all about: making himself and his fellow Oligarchs even richer, while decimating programs that working families, the elderly and the children rely on.

That is an obscene set of priorities. Congress must reject this proposal and pass a budget that works for all of us, not just the 1%.

A budget is a moral document.

Trump cuts taxes for the rich, programs for everyone else — while ballooning the already bloated war budget and raiding the treasury for himself and his family.

And he hopes we’re all too dumb/apathetic to notice.

If the McConnell rule is Supreme Court nominations are not considered when the opposition party controls the Senate, the NEW rule should be we get to increase the court size to fix it. Four new seats should be added in 2028. Break the filibuster to do it.

Military bases do have military police and security forces which are well armed (and trained) for protecting the base population. Hegseth reminds us daily he is an idiot.

Of course there is this thought. We are not a "war" according to our government. Therefore, if they are captured, they are not "prisoners of war". The line in treatment is very much fuzzy under the 3rd Geneva Convention.

He really said it. He really said we can't do these things for our people because we have expensive wars to fight.

The Sentence That Could Sink Donald Trump’s Presidency The single most consequential thing Trump said yesterday didn’t come from his primetime address.

“We’re fighting wars,” Trump added. “It’s not possible for us to take care of day care, Medicaid, Medicare, all these individual things. They can do it on a state basis.”

I guess California can take those tax $$ back to do the "state stuff". Have fun Alabama.

Senators, Congress members:

Have new Articles of Impeachment been put to a vote today?

If not, why not?

Are you waiting for the mid-term elections to be sabotaged before doing anything? Because then it will be too late.

Voters:

Demand that our leaders do their job today:

This is the Gulf States problem. We should not be their TCNs for hire to do their dirty work. Skin in the game means THEY LEAD IT, THEY FIGHT IT. We should not be in the middle of a holy war between Shia and Sunni Islam. We will be blamed for the damage by both. This story has been told before.

@usrepjimmypanetta.bsky.social, your 2-week break from Congress may be short.

Trump will invade Iranian territory during this break BECAUSE Congress is not in session. This is Trump's pattern. A sternly worded letter will not prevent this from happening.

2 weeks ago 0 0 0 0

Of course this will happen. Possibly inside of a week. How often has Trump done something outrageous during a recess just because Congress is not there to act (or do nothing, this is a Republican led Congress).

I'll amend that. America had a solid economy and twice completely fucked it up by ELECTING Donald Trump. Although Trump is executing our economy, our values, and our image; 77 million people endorsed it.

Most still do not, or choose not, to accept responsibility for that.
