Agreed but how do the unemployed get those jobs? Without a Job Guarantee they will be competing with those who already have jobs.

And without a Guarantee there are a fixed number of jobs. Not a job for any unemployed person, guaranteed.

They can kill welfare without it.

You can create the jobs sure. However many will end up going to people already employed if there is a conventional recruitment process. The already employed find it easier to get jobs. The point of Job Guarantee jobs is they are available to any who want them.

Well that's not a Job Guarantee. Worrying about a not Job Guarantee isn't a reason to avoid doing an actual Job Guarantee.

Misuse how? There would be a meaningful job for anybody who wants it. No obligation to take it.

If they were simply passing on costs...then they wouldn't have soaring profits. This fact alone exposes them for what they are.
