I think that’s right. IIRC, it launched pretty quickly after the surprise announcement too. Covid made stuff weird for a bit on the marketing side.
This. They never use these morning one-offs for anything substantial. They’ve effectively trained us all into understanding these aren’t really that important and won’t move the needle for many.
OK. Maybe a little terrible. The MSRP for the original Deep Cut 3 amiibo was $15.99 each. Not really in a hurry to spend an additional $9 each.

I really think Smash was a reason for Capcom to add a “Modern” play style. Reduces the need to memorize specials and combos and reduces the gap to where more people can jump in and play.
I’m not a fan of it, but I get why they would do it.
I was a Honey Nut fan until one day I wasn’t. Just lost the taste for it.
