A fun evening of slapping the ice cream hypnosis out of seaside townsfolk until Dagon appeared for a sound thrashing (actual plot of the episode).
Good times once again with Cthulhu: Death May Die!

I really like Campy Creatures - it plays into the old movie poster aesthetic and the information is clear without sacrificing the design.
We're returning to Cthulhu Death May Die tomorrow in Lost Episode 1: Speak Fhtagn or Die with Dagon!
Cultmaster X and Lords Faceless and Nameless are hatching some sort of diabolical plot with hypnotic ice cream (yes really) - can our intrepid yet insane heroes save the day?

I found a copy of that on the Underground once - when I finished it I left it on a bus, felt like the right thing to do...
GURPS sourcebook for Atomic Horror
Atomic Horror.
Rise of Moloch board game box
A table full of board game components
Trays of miniatures
Opium Dragon and Phileas Fogg miniatures
I've been looking forward to getting these miniatures and components sorted all week for a World of Smog campaign we're starting in May - also going to take the time before we start to read all the lore they've put into the campaign books and manuals, it's really quite a rich setting!

Just so you know, using the hashtag GenCon is putting you into the board game feeds because of www.gencon.com and it is deeply confusing.
The second shop I tried to find was also gone, but I finally found something worth visiting, the aptly named Wargamer!
Great selection of Games Workshop and alikes, and nice to see people having a wargame in the shop!
Quite a few ranges I didn't know, so educational at least! 2/2

Next on my European city board game visits - Warsaw!
The first I tried to find was supposedly in the catacombs beneath central station, and on my quest I felt transported to a future shock movie of the 70s. As it transpired that was more fun than the destination, but a fitting end! 1/2

Probably wise - I have pretty much all of it (with that as well) and I've only just started the second KS stuff. Worth just getting the core set that appeals...
He's not the best thing in the show, but I think he settles into it as time goes on. It becomes much more than what the "Captain" does in a way not much ST ever does.
Like TNG before it, it takes a while to find the groove, and although S1/2 has its moments, S3 onwards has some incredible Trek.
Great Afternoon teaching #ShadowsofBrimstone - just a typical day in the mines fighting giant scorpions, rats and tentacles before facing an alien raiding party from a planet trapped in a forever trench war!
The game was a success, with new characters selected for an ongoing campaign!

I've found exactly one use for the work one so far; it wrote a pretty good basis for a business case reading my emails and meeting notes up until that point; net gain of an hour maybe... But another time using number data was a disaster - made stuff up even between two identical sets of data...
Adverts for new escape room and murder mystery games with a Star Trek theme on Kickstarter.
Saw DS9 in a banner on BGG and couldn't click fast enough, to find the disappointment of it being a murder mystery/escape room game...
Don't get me wrong, happy for you if that's your jam, but I just don't dig it. Was really hoping for some sort of station management game...

Godspeed! Or just convince someone else to buy it and play theirs...
Oh man! May I humbly suggest you make it a priority... It's wonderful.
Have you played Cthulhu: Death May Die? It fired Zombicide from my collection.
I'm not sure exactly how the last crowdfunding worked, but you might see them again in some form at retail when they start to deliver in Q3...
I've trained myself to stop saying "thanks, you too" as it's invariably only when someone says to me "enjoy your meal/trip/etc" when I say it...
Just say thanks... And stop talking.
Ah, I meant got you playing it now as they just talked about it last episode - but now I see it's only just released. Got it in my head this was an old expansion!
Was it the @thesecretcabal.bsky.social mention that got you on it? Or coincidence?
Trying LA-1 by @trickortreatgames.bsky.social in prep for game night and this is definitely up my (crime) alley.
It has a narrative card system and test/token mechanisms that I really enjoy plus a cyberpunk setting - really enjoyed it, even though one of my defectives was murdered!

Stand back Joe Diamond (from Mansions of Madness) - there's a new, overly-dramatic, dual wielding gumshoe in game town! Take that, clues!!!
Edward Doyle from LA-1, presumably directed by John Woo - will use the standees on this one, or do some remodelling if I decide to paint...

I still have my Iron Maiden patches from the 80s - but they sit in my bed side cabinet never used, along with a handful of Garbage Pail Kids and other detritus of my personal history I cannot bear to part with...
Think I'd rather be washing dishes!
I don't think names matter as much content - Scythe was initially strange to a lot of people, now no one thinks about it.
As much as I love jokes/puns, I will put games with them as a title into a certain category in my head - for what it's worth, I own zero games with obvious joke/pun names.
Someone said to me the other day that it was "like Dusk til Dawn but not as good". Now, I have become a man of peace in my middle age, but I can honestly say that dude nearly caught one up the bracket.
Updating the 1st ed. tiles from Maximum Apocalypse so they're compatible with Wasted Wilds (I.E. rules clarity and indoor marked), so I don't have to keep referring to a separate list.
Common sense? or "what are you doing to that game?!?"
It's not perfect but works for me...

Yep. Not often hungry anymore. Tired on the other hand...
Not very good at that sort of thing unfortunately!
