Can we get rid of woke washing of hands while we're at it?

You were never a real Mets fan if you treat their losses as a punishment or a crisis instead of grist for the scrappy underdog vibes, that's spiritually Boston behavior
Yeah I gotta say if it turns out *this* is the thing that bothers us, rather than, say, what is done to the image of Christ found in the poor and dispossessed themselves, then all those Calvinist warnings about idolatry basically seem correct to me.
"The Culture, where it's odd to not be trans"
Still want in Elon?
That man has never actually read a book he understood in his life.
"Decent processes"
Long before "knowing what you do and how it's done is woke", this was incredibly rare.
The only thing mitigating this these days are blanket cert requirements in regulated industries. The rest seem even more likely to be flying by the seat of their pants.
I think the real anti-pattern is thinking executives can do any real work.
Lots of middle-managers *are* mostly wordless or negative productivity, but that doesn't mean execs can fill the gap.
It means you need to promote actual workers to do the work.
Imagine his face when he gets the discovery notice for his bank accounts to tally recent purchases π³
It's really the idiots behind him clapping that are dooming them. They could stop all of this instantly.
In the same manifesto, Palantir's owners argued that we need a national military draft, that soft power is over, and that we were too hard on Germany and Japan after World War II. I don't think that company should be allowed to exist anymore.

Itβs absolutely incredible that one of the largest Japanese-run Go servers, which has been running since 1992, is still accessed entirely via Telnet. And while most players use GUI clients that use Telnet under the hood, you can still connect manually and get ASCII graphics streamed to you
In these chaotic times, the Mets being the Mets is one of the few grounding things around.
lol, a "coup that actually ends well" is the most impossible of the proposed solutions.
"Gee, maybe we should fully unteather the world's biggest military from all democratic norms and ethics, and hope it goes well" π
Critical thinking is important.
Similar thing happened with the "Sewer Socialists" of Milwaukee in the first half of the 20th century.
American reactionary Catholics just cannot help Protestanting

An anthropomorphic piece of sliced bread and a bunch of red roses smiling, walking hand-in-hand. The slice of bread carries a red banner that says "We Want It All" Beneath the image it says Haymarket Books Est. 2001, Chicago IL

There are maybe 2 things I actually know about Portland and Powell's is one of them.
If a US political party just copied those bullet points verbatim, they'd get my vote.
1/ we have an incredible package out today on our AI overlords and how the entire world is being ravaged in their pursuit for domination www.motherjones.com/politics/202...
Pete Stauber was the one that started this in the House! Dems fought hard against it but all GOP voted for it.
Stauber and Emmer need to be voted out!

These motherfuckers need to be stopped. They have no right to take away our pristine boundary waters.
This is literally just her saying "Trumps words count, the Pope's don't"
They make everything into politics and then call for certain people to abstain from politics, ie everything.
It's just "shut up" with more steps.
So no one was taking sides in 1960?
