Then might I introduce you to Brindlewood Bay, a ttrpg where the players are a group of nosy ass old ladies who solve murder mysteries that may or may not lead to a Lovecraftian conspiracy
See this? QRT with your ghost art
Some time last year team at Roll'n'Play trusted me to paint an underground dragon!
The scaly beast is included in their book No Place like Homebrew

A digital illustration of a human lower jawbone and a pink rose surrounded by flames and ghostly roses. Inspired by the book The Waste Lands by Stephen King.
A digital illustration of a boy holding a glowing, pink crystal ball showing his beloved being burned at the stake. Inspired by the book Wizard and Glass by Stephen King.
A digital illustration of a lostrosity (lobster like monster with a shiny carapace, from Stephen King's Dark Tower series) holding a dead gull in its claw.
The Dark Tower is one of my favorite book series of all time! A couple of years ago when things were a bit difficult for me I spent a whole summer painting fanart for it and it made everything so much more bearable. Art is so fucking cool - interacting with it, creating & sharing it!!
That's all โ๏ธ
I got 0.0044 on my phone, and 0.0039 on my computer (not a fancy monitor).
Don't know if that deviation is statistically relevant or just human variance, but I expected my astigmatism to impact my score negatively in general. That doesn't seem to be the case here, which is a nice surprise.

A solitary figure sits atop a throne made entirely of skulls. His hands are the only features not obscured by shadow or the flowing crimson of his hooded cloak, which spills down the raised dais. Candles set on each arm of the throne melt over the inset skulls. A wisp of smoke trails from one. On the floor lie several bodies. One man died clutching his throat. A woman in a white gown lies awkwardly on one hip while her arm extends behind her where she fell. An empty chalice lies on its side.

Digital painting of a yellow/orange dragon chilling over a fallen tree. Great clouds, mountain landscape and a waterfall in the background. A painted golden frame around it

Actually now IS the most important time for you to make art.
Show people what's possible. Show others the depth of their own agency.
Show the world they have a soul that yearns for something more than output, over stimulation and productivity.
Here be dragons โจ
digital drawing in procreate. A grizzly bear sitting and holding a branch with blueberries. He looks happy. Around him are more blueberries plants and a few birch trees. Two crows are sitting on either side on a tree. One has a berry in its beak another one squints at the blueberry branch.
Itโs a bear. Finding the right rendering style for the fur took me a while, but Iโm so happy how it turned out.
Itโs one of the patreon stickers for this month and will also be a print later.

YA Fantasy book cover of two character portraits, vertically stacked in the composition. The top portrait is of a young woman with octopus tentacles sprouting from her back, holding an ornate sword above her head. The bottom portrait is of a young man in a white suit leisurely holding a sword by his side, wearing an ornate crown with wrought iron bars sprouting from said crown, bending downwards and forming a cage.
gosh well :( artwork for a cancelled book cover
Painting of a half-orc man holding his lover, an aasimar man in a reinterpretation of an artwork by Joe Bowler

NO AI PLEASE!

A single crow perched among bare tree branches, solid but dim blue sky in the background
Black & White, a spiderweb suspended between bare branches, dewdrops among the strands illuminated by the sun, lots of depth in the branches of the background
Large dew drops hanging from tree branches, detailed reflections in the drops, along with a few dewy spiderweb strands connecting branches
A yellow maple leaf on a dirty red table with a pale blue plant-pot in the background
And among those, far fewer that ended up being of interest, being as appealing as I had hoped. These have been some of those.
A line of tufted clouds (the last on the right looking like a dinosaur), with a crow flying from left to right
A cityscape with a cloudy sky, mountains in the background, and trees sandwiched by buildings in the foreground. Some nice orange tones in some of the trees
And could I? Well, my answer to that currently is... not quite. Not yet, and likely not more than just a little side hobby once in a while. For a while, at least.
After taking 1700 photos, I ended up with a few dozen that seemed worth processing and cropping, hunting for gold.
A series of small, brown and yellow mushrooms growing out of the side of a mossy tree stump, almost creating an X pattern
A tree with one side damaged and slightly hollowed, with new roots growing downward from the top of the wound, almost filling in the original shape of the tree
The goal was creating photos interesting enough that they might be valuable beyond my ability to run around to everybody in my life screaming "PLEASE BUY SOMETHING!"
A duck in a lake creating ripples, one webbed foot sticking out of the water
Green leaves on a tree branch
I borrowed a DSLR camera from a friend, to see if I liked the process, see if I could develop an eye towards composition. I watched a TON of Youtube photography videos, and I began going on many walks through a nearby forest park, searching for how to capture my enjoyment of the nature around me.
Close-up photo of a mossy tree stump, vibrant green against a dark background
Tree stump with mossy edges against a forest background, with natural but cinematic lighting
While hunting around for my new direction outside of 3D Modeling & VFX, I took up photography as one possible option. I figured I might be able to sell a few prints on INPRNT or similar if I could capture some decent looking pictures, to supplement whatever else I might have going on.
A painting of a canyon in the fog, some remains of graves are here and there, a goddess statue is standing in the background. Trees are twisted and almost leafless. A mother and his child are standing in the middleground, she is holding a lamp in her hand. In the foreground some lost kids are anxious and wonder why she is there. One of them is trying to approach her. The mood is sad and monochromatic, a grey, except a little touch of warm orange coming from the mother lamp.
