Reform need to wear sponsorship overalls. In my neck of the woods they profess openness and transparency when in fact it is the opposite.

Desperation setting in. Increasingly on the door steps people are starting their conversations with 'I'm not voting Reform'.

Great visit to Market Harborough Fixers on Saturday. Thanks Steve and the team for giving me insight into their Repair Cafe. Lots of ideas to help us with our quest to set up a Repair Cafe in Brixworth.

Thanks to the 20 plus volunteers who turned out yesterday for the Brixworth Big Community Clean Up. We worked an area on the Northampton and Harborough Roads. Thanks also to Brixworth Parish Council for providing two of their staff and their van for helping us to move things around. @libdems.org.uk

On International Women's Day we recognise how much more there is to do for women to achieve true equal rights in society. We must all contribute to creating an inclusive world not least by celebrating women's achievements and advocating for their rights.

Epic. Wake up electorate. A proposed cabinet of Conservatives failures and at one other entirely driven by dogmatic self serving policies.

Reform blames printer as it faces investigation into by-election leaflet The Electoral Commission says the omission is a police matter

www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/poli... It's all well and good Reform blaming their printers, however, Reforms agent is responsible for this error. They either didn't check the print, they deliberately left off the imprint or they don't know what they are doing. ???

‘A good starter but needs to be maintained’: Stalwart town centre business reacts to ice rink breaking even A stalwart business owner in Northampton town centre has reacted to recent figures released by West Northamptonshire Council, which revealed the Market Square ice rink broke even.

www.northamptonchron.co.uk/business/a-g...
Struggling to get my head around this. We keep being told that it broke even - it cost £300k and took revenue of £122k. The balance was made up of grant funding and sponsorship. That's subsidised.

Getting increasingly fed up and annoyed at being told that the new Household Waste Recycling Centre booking system is working brilliantly. I'm not buying it. More fly tips in my area than I can remember - and this lot is close to the HWRC. @libdemlocalgov.bsky.social @libdems.org.uk

Robert Jenrick claims he is 'uniting the right' by defecting to Reform UK The former Conservative minister denies the move was about personal ambition, in an exclusive BBC interview.

www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... just laughable. You couldn't find a more self serving move. He claims that Britain is broken - by Labour and the Conservatives. Hello? What the hell has been doing on his watch. He was part of the mob that caused the problems. He has no answers to fix anything

Maximum council tax rises proposed in Reform UK led West Northamptonshire Council at 4.99%. Remember their promises to cut them?
Hikes in car parking charges and new fee introductions to our market towns. This will not support small businesses.

We need an emergency flu vaccine drive to protect the vulnerable and prevent a disaster in the NHS.

That means jabs offered in pubs, churches and community spaces, and taking on the anti-vax lies promoted by Reform and other conspiracy theorists head on.

Polls suggest that Nigel Farage is heading for 10 Downing Street on a vote share of just 30%. It beggars belief that Labour is still committed to an outdated, undemocratic voting system that would see the hard right stroll into government on a minority of the vote.

Politico: "Reform UK Deputy Leader Richard Tice confirmed “no decisions have been made” about council tax rate hikes affecting counties his party runs but guessed most of them would be roughly “the rate of inflation.”"

Reform pledged to freeze or even cut council tax. They lied to voters here.
