We have been providing updates with answers to your questions on our blog along the way! This was a major rework that took more time than anticipated. We launched the open beta to allow you to try the progress. The aircraft are using a new pipeline that has taken time to get off the ground.

Infinite Flight 26.1 is here. 🚀
One of our biggest updates yet, with a new rendering system, new aircraft, and major improvements across the sim. Months of open beta work, now in your hands.
No joke.

The Infinite Flight 26.1 open beta improves procedure selection.
• Open procedures from airports on the map
• Faster navigation with breadcrumbs
• Leg or cumulative ETE in the flight plan
Plus new community-requested liveries.
Your issue sounds different though. We would encourage you to submit this to the #support category on our community forum so it can be looked at. community.infiniteflight.com/c/support
Flight time and fuel burn are estimated on the side of caution for now since it’s better to arrive with more fuel instead of running out and ending the flight. We have ways we can improve this in the future but it’s more involved to factor in real winds.
New interactive Flight Debrief page, taxi speed limits on Expert/Training, major ATC stability work, and a long list of crash fixes. 26.1 is getting closer. Read about our recent Open Beta updates on our blog.

Played around with the Open Beta of the new @infiniteflight.com. Really cool stuff. The new onscreen controls are much more helpful as well.
Just need more variety with clouds and weather 😅

Work-in-progress render of an Airbus A321neo in Infinite Flight, shown slightly elevated above the runway at dusk. The aircraft appears untextured in dark placeholder materials, with landing gear extended and a “WIP” badge in the corner.
Wireframe view of an Airbus A321neo model in Infinite Flight, highlighted in yellow mesh over a runway and surrounding terrain. The image shows detailed geometry for the fuselage, wings, and landing gear, marked as a work in progress.
Look what’s making its way to our developers 👀
The A321neo has landed for the next phase of development. Modeling and animations are nearly complete, with UV mapping and testing up next. Still very much a work in progress, but the shape of things to come is taking form!
40 years ago today, we lost seven heroes aboard Challenger. As an astronaut who commanded the space shuttle after this tragedy, I think about them often. Their courage pushed the boundaries of exploration. Today, we remember their sacrifice and the legacy they left behind.

You asked, we listened. 🧪 A long-standing request is being tested in our open beta: an on-screen virtual touch joystick. Our beta users are currently testing a new feature that is undergoing further iterations. Are you testing? What do you think of this feature? infiniteflight.com/blog/infinit...
Screenshot from Infinite Flight’s Open Beta showing the AutoPilot+ “Auto Exit” panel over a blurred cockpit view. A black overlay lists green checkmarks confirming conditions such as level flight, altitude above 28,000 feet, LNAV enabled, more than 30 minutes remaining to destination, on flight plan track, all engines on, and no active warnings. A toggle at the bottom shows Auto Exit turned on, with “Saved 1 min ago” displayed at the top.
Have you been trying out our new Open Beta? 🧪 A new feature we're currently testing is AP+ Auto Exit. This feature would give users the ability to have AutoPilot+ exit a flight before TOD, even if it's active on their device. Let us know what you think! community.infiniteflight.com/t/infinite-f...

I had a surreal time at the Dubai Airshow. I was able to experience the A380 for the first time with Emirates on the ride there (no, not upstairs), and enjoy some of the sights in the city. Connecting with friends and @infiniteflight.com users while on the other side of the globe was truly unique.
Things are taking longer than we had hoped, so recently our CEO @laura.bsky.social took to our community forum to tell you exactly why. We’ve summarized this info to let you know what’s left to do. Thanks for sticking with us. We’re almost there!

Meet us at SkyView at the Dubai Airshow! We'd love to see you Wednesday, Nov 18 at 2PM to hook you up with some Infinite Flight swag and watch the airshow.
