When they show the rest of the family in Paris and they’re all wearing white and red and sitting on a green couch, and the tree in the background is shades of blue: it’s a Christmas tree sure, but just slightly OFF. Oooooh such good mise en scène storytelling.

Don’t judge me but I’m already watching Home Alone. Obsessed with how Christmas themed the McCallister’s entire house is. EVERY SINGLE ROOM is red white and green, everyone’s outfits balance out the colours in every scene, it’s just *chefs kiss*
