It has been a blessing to be able to write my ending here alongside my colleagues in a human first and trusting way. โฅ๏ธ

When my time with a company ends it is sudden. I am used to the inhuman rug pull of revoked permissions. Not so, here. Here there is trust.
Yet I have created something without permission, that no one knows is coming. But that thing will be human and that thing will be hope.

Our current learning approaches are trapping us in the status quo - too focused away from the people *doing* the learning...

Thank you to everyone who joined with us to hold space for inner work today. It was so nourishing to be in a space where people could just *be* and were even able to be comfortable with the natural silence of deep thought. What a wonderful way to spend a morning!
It's not too late to enjoy some (much needed) wholesome space with us tomorrow morning as we hold a conversation with you about the inner work needed for systems change. Grab a cuppa and a comfy seat and join us if you can!

100%. Accessibility looks different to different folks!
Thank you for posting this! I know folks feel 'bad' taking space but: 'If you need ACCESS to an ACCESSIBLE toilet' get a radar key.
-Maybe you've just given birth & your bladder is iffy,
- Maybe you're trans and need to pee safely
- Maybe you're autistic & the lights / noise is softer there
Is Mirri aware that getting up requires moving and thus, dislodging her from her regal throne and most holy of positions?
...because if so I sense that perhaps this air of concern may be nefarious in nature...
We'd be delighted if you shared space with us on Thursday 24th April as we discuss The Inner Work Needed To Change Systems: Doing The Work Together. (It's free & online, just bring tea!)
- You can catch up on our last session here: tli.sh/Np

A full house, people sneaking their way in, laughter, stories of sausages... and crowd of people changed by new ideas. Ideas that centre learning in the human and not in metrics.
We have left Marmalade festival in Oxford feeling truly humbled by the reception of our work, thank you everyone!
I love that 'role playing' is a part of this. The need for play and experimentation seems to be a thread connecting so much of radical thought!
Hell YES. I wonder if it's because other folks just don't have the level of constant airtime he has? There are plenty of people in the limelight who are autistic - Anthony Hopkins was diagnosed at 70 and the pop star Sia has also spoken about it... But someone really needs to take that mantle up!
Yes, though, frankly this is doing a great disservice to red fluffy muppets (personally I'm loving the use of fElon as a nickname these days). and autistic people.
Just sayin:' most ND folks have learned the difference between a nazi salute and sharing their heart. ๐
Let's talk social media. Let's talk change. BlueSky, sincerely, I love you but (even as a goth with an absurdist outlook) THERE HAS TO BE A BETTER WAY than the constant doom stream. It needs to start with us.
Our friend Nathalie makes the case, but what say you?

Our lovely friend Helen wrote this after our recent discussions about inner work - and really captured the spirit of a conversation that moved all of us. Shifting systems, creating change, really is rooted in truly honest conversations just like this. #systemschange

As someone who admittedly has a fondness for the nihilistic humour of the original meme... this hit especially hard today.
(Sorry not sorry). Pucker up! Itโll be the zest thing for learning within systems change since sliced toastโฆ
We're peeling back the bitter pith surrounding learning; squeezing out why current learning approaches trap us and segmenting why we just Keep. Getting. Learning. Wrong. lu.ma/nsc1qgx9
"Capitalism hates love"

Why do we talk about 'heads of organisations' but we donโt talk about them having a heart or a gut?
Big data doesn't value the unmeasurable. We leave our other sources of wisdom, and the scope of human potential, on the cutting room floor.

๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ: "If equitable and just systems are dependent on collaborations doing deeper relational work in the context of a more polarized world, then it absolutely matters how you show up, what you show up for, and what leadership you are bringing to the table."

So much this! A core part of systems change is collective inner work - the space needed to put down the masks and be human... with all the mess that that entails ๐
This is the path I have chosen. #anarchy
A poem on chaos and complacency that really resonated during our discussions on the importance of inner work today!
