Using Claude Opus 4.6 and Codex 5.3 simultaneously. I can definitely tell which one is a front-end developer and which is a backend dev.
All the little bells are going off in my head, like "you can trust this guy to design your backend APIs but don't ask him to center a div"

With egg prices where they are, if I can continue to get chicken feed from an unlocked shed at work, it pays for itself after harvesting 3,060 eggs
They reuse assets and most of the game engine, so they start to feel the same. Would probably recommend the last released one that really interests you.
Feels like their remakes are the 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 of their evolving game engine.
Very few projects are open to bringing in professional designers looking to contribute to open source. Creates a weird dynamic where Iโve seen it.
Youโre basically telling someone volunteering their time as a developer how to do their job.
It can work but thatโs still my theory.
Theyโre solid! Or at least they go on sale for next to nothing a couple times a year and are generally bug-freeโฆ
lol @baileytownsend.dev using the story of seasons cow
Ha neat, I really don't know if it'll "feel" right or not.
Solid implementation! I wondered if it would feel smoother to link to the post in a new tab if the user attempts to interact with a comment.
Would feel aggressive to redirect in the same window. Popping up in a new tab might be surprising.
I guess "Go to post" does less harm.

I'm just excited i get the reference!
This is going to dovetail excellently with your last video when you have enough clarity to post about it
> War update โ Is Trump helping Russia now?

I used to borrow my buddyโs metro back in the day, and we only really drove it on the part of I-5 that was 60mph, because the vibration in that thing at highway speed was a bit unnerving.
Cheetah but I ainโt knocking no Geo Metro
This guy is try to distill OpenAIโs model into his brain ๐ฒ
Youโre allowed to park in a regular spot if one wheel is over the curb or straddling the line.
Key to the technique is you have to inconvenience someone else somehow.
Indexes on likes is literally the entire struggle for me โ everything else is gravy.
Need to implement a table swapping or partition rotation strategy.
Yeah that's what I was going to say. Headline will be like, "Some famous guy you figure you'll never meet" and apparently I can afford to bribe them?
Iโm so stupid rose (titanic)
Ahhhhhh I should have bought this while I was in Taipeiโฆ.. itโll never come to the US.
Iโm so stupid (Amy) rose.
The feed technically works now but there's an incomplete likes table that fed into the first build of the affinities table, so, it's basically a "What's hot" feed.
And "What's hot" on Bluesky is like: do you want a lot of politics, or a super duper huge amount of politics?
I normally have tons of free time but for some weird reason everything piled up into a 1-2 week period. Travel, got sick, tax stuff, had a few big work-related things, and this has been limping along for probably the last month.
Feed server effectively ran out of space. Probably need to migrate to a new server with ~1tb ssd, more time consuming than anything.
The upside is, after 3 days of downtime you can just truncate the likes table to free up space ๐
Will probably start working in a day or so.

Back!
Ran out of disk space. Actually ran out of disk space every day for the last 2 weeks to be more accurate!
Going to bite the bullet and rebuild the likes index. Feed will probably be offline for some period of time after the current cache expires. Could be an hours but my day is your night, right?
"Pornographic Images with Rivers"
This is what happens when you let an LLM label clusters based on alt tags, 0.001% of the time ๐ง

The alt tag is almost always "IEMBot Image TBD" so.... ๐คก
You're never going to financially recover from this.
fun reminder for me that design tools have traditionally not enabled spell check by default. This was the case in Photoshop back in the day, but figma still requires a few extra clicks to check spelling.
So like, "I came here to adjust kerning and layout, not spele althiest correctly"
Send me a DM later if you want to trade notes on a discover feed for Skyswipe!
I haven't really implemented everything on videos, but I built the GPU pipeline to do the video clustering, etc. and sometime next month I plan to rewrite the main discover feed to be simpler to self-host / open source.
Sometimes โJerry, noโ is short for โJerry nobody disagrees with this itโs not a hot-take.โ.
Gemini: You seemed stressed. I booked you a flight to Tahiti, it's beautiful there this time of year.
Unrelated, I see an email alert that your checking account is overdrawn by ($736).
