This is one of the reasons why I love the first Jak & Daxter so much. <3 It hits so hard with them from the start. And then they threw it all away for edgy dystopia in the second game. ;o;l

I feel that. It had such a rich and unique feel, and a gradual expansion of the world & lore would've been amazing to see. But they had to try to be GTA III. It's a real shame ☹️

✅ Fun/engrossing
✅ Consistently solid performance

That's it.

High-end graphics or cutting edge gameplay/storytelling? Really couldn't give a rat's ass as long as I'm invested, it runs well, and looks decent.

Reconnecting with my love of platformers, I picked up Big Hops in a bundle with Demon Tides.
Having fun so far - very charming, love the art style, and leaping across vast hubs hunting collectibles is very satisfying ☺️🐸🎮
