This period was a lot less tolerant and open-minded than I remember.
That's exactly what happened to me. I remember accusing the caller of block-busting. I was so mad.
That's not even the worst part -- they then used their influence to suppress what were then minorities and block them from obtaining their livelihoods with regular jobs and then blamed them for not having regular jobs, which became an excuse to militarize the police farce
