I am not invested in the left as a briar patch of subcultures. I am invested in the left as an ecosystem of political projects, many of which have overlapping interests and concerns. These approaches are not interchangeable and are sometimes diametrically opposed.
Dünya halklarının bu alçağı ve bunun gibileri bertaraf edecek bir yol bulamamaları, insanlığın bu çağdaki en büyük utancıdır! #warcriminal
"History will judge-" let me stop you right fucking there, history doesn't do fucking shit, I'm a historian, let's be clear here: elected officials need to do their fucking jobs, right now, before it happens, or future historians will judge THEM. Everyone knows and knew who Trump was.
Now, Trump’s budget request reveals, the FBI runs a dedicated “NSPM-7 Joint Mission Center”; with personnel from 10 federal agencies, it is busy “proactively” identifying domestic terrorists motivated by any of the following beliefs: “anti-Americanism,” “anti-capitalism,” “anti-Christianity,” “support for the overthrow of the U.S. Government,” “extremism on migration,” extremism on “race,” extremism on “gender,” “Hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on family,” Hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on “religion,” and Hostility towards those who hold traditional views on “morality.”
The FBI is “proactively” identifying “domestic terrorists,” including anyone with critical views on “capitalism,” “Americanism,” “Christianity,” “migration,” “race,” “gender,” and “family.”
Essentially, every single Bluesky user.

In Turkey, there's no dramatic war to keep the world interested. Just a slow descent into darkness -- at least in regard to media coverage -- while many experienced reporters leave the country one after another. Journalist Hannah Lucinda Smith, describes it well:

This is so, so well-articulated.
Great work by @metesefauysal.bsky.social leading this well-cited paper.

People just haven't tuned into how bad this could go for the EU and UK. Reality hasn't quite hit them yet.
A Hadza collaborator of mine suddenly lost his wife earlier this week. They had two young children. I am seeking to raise a small amount of money to help Endeko cover funeral expenses and short-term childcare costs. Any small donations would be appreciated

Why go on a protest march? To demonstrate to the authorities, to build a movement, and to show opponents we are many you are few.

Universities spend £££ to attract & retain what they allege are the best senior managers who then spend more on paying consultants. Those consultants sell the same solutions to multiple institutions.
