If LLMs were NBA players

Silicon Valley / growth marketers have apparently just discovered "taste", "storytelling", and "brand".
Welcome to the bright side ๐ค
Interesting that both Anthropic and OpenAI used their Super Bowl ad spots to reposition rather than reinforce position.
Anthropic is known for professional tooling but their ad targets consumer use cases.
OpenAI is known for consumer use cases but their ad targets developers.
Huh, interesting! Thanks for sharing.
Nice, thank you. We have just implemented a new version of this ๐
Thanks so much, great feedback ๐
Clearly labeled as in the subject line says whatโs in the email?
Ha! Fair enough. I often do the same.
Thank you! (For using Buffer and for your thoughts). So glad to hear youโve had a positive experience. ๐
Giannis is a HOF, once in a generation type player. Bulls should give up anything and everything to get him.
Bulls fans saying they won't give up Matas in a deal are out of their minds. He's a great prospect but the likelyhood of him approaching anywhere near Giannis' value is < 5%.
I created a little app that gives you film score recommendation based on your taste.
It's called ScoreScout: booplet.com/@ecksteinmk/...
Hi, this is Amanda from Bufferโs product team. ๐๐ฝ
I wanted to share a quick update on what weโve been working on with the Buffer API and Developer Portal.
First, thank you to everyone whoโs been testing and sharing feedback. Itโs been so helpful, and weโre building with that input in mind. ๐
HNY!
Welcome to Customer Experience Island... ๐๏ธ
Alliances were formed. Changelogs were built. Not everyone made it out.
(It's the last full week of the year at Buffer which means it's CX Week. This is where cross-functional teams play Santa and ship gifts to our users.)
A gentle reminder to check on your pre-scheduled posts and pause your queue if necessary.
I think we're better served developing a unique, consistent, interesting POV. Or building partnerships and community that compound over time.
Basically investing in things that grow reach steadily rather than in a single moment.
If your product team is agile, most if the things you ship just aren't going to create a moment. That requires some intellectual honesty. It also requires putting away your ego, which is harder.
Do product marketers over-index on launches?
We obsess over them, yet they're only a small slice of go-to-market.
Creating a launch "moment" organically is getting harder. You're competing with engagement bait, algorithms, and the broader news cycle.
103.5 million social posts have been posted via Buffer this year so far.
We run all sorts of analysis on these posts but this is the most important BY FAR ๐ค ๐
The top emoji appeared in more than 9 million posts.
Can you guess which one it is?
Less talking about what you're going to do. More doing things worth talking about.
And then the moment will choose you.
Great marketing is earned.
You have to DO interesting, memorable things, consistently.
You can't predict when you're going to own the moment, when you'll command attention.
You can't summon it out of thin air.
This is one of the more "controversial" new features in @buffer.com
The Comment Scoreโข๏ธ
Oh!!! I can reply to comments on FB without stepping into FB!!!!!!!!!!!!
Creators who reply to comments on Bluesky see a 5% lift in engagement. Now you can manage all your comments in one place with Buffer! ๐
Available to everyone, including on the free plan, it helps you spot and stay on top of opportunities to connect.

@drsundar.bsky.social haha no need to apologize!
Fun little Halloween treat in @buffer.com today!
(We finally shipped Dark Mode - 352 user votes later!)
I switched from ChatGPT to Claude this week.
Not because of product capabilities but because my values are more aligned with Anthropic than OpenAI.
OpenAI has repeatedly said one thing and done another.
Anthropic has been mostly consistent in their messaging.
Thank you!!!
Check out the Community tab at the top of your Buffer account ๐
Excited to have you on the beta! ๐
With this new feature you can reply to Bluesky comments from right inside Buffer. A couple of my favourite things about it:
1. It's a calm space to reply to people, away from the noise of feeds
2. It's free
3. You get a "comment score" which tracks your habits
