it looks from the outside like the NYT adopted an advocacy position on the anti-trans side. anti-trans people rarely have issue getting a byline or a story-defining quote in the Times when no trans person is ever given that chance?

I don't want advocacy from the NYT, I want fairness.

Here's what to know about anal sex and IBD Experts answer questions about inflammatory bowel disease and anal sex you’re probably too embarrassed to ask

“Trying out anal s*x for the first time can be a stressful experience for anybody. [...] I was diagnosed with [IBD] at the tender age of 16[,] long before I even identified as queer or considered how it would affect my sexual health.”

U.S. ready to cut support to Scouts, accusing them of attacking 'boy-friendly spaces' Documents show the U.S. military is planning to sever all ties with the organization formerly known as the Boy Scouts.

Congress requires DOD to facilitate Scouts activities but the Secretary can ignore the law in cases where it is “detrimental to national security." Hegseth is preparing to do so because the scouts have become too inclusive of girls.

Opinion | Democrats’ election wins showed they don't need to hide their support for trans rights Republicans repeated Trump's anti-trans strategy from 2024 and lost big. This should be instructive for Democrats.

For @msnbc.com I wrote about how Tuesday's election gives Democrats the blueprint for overcoming Republican anti-trans attacks and how thus should settle all the talk about throwing trans people under the bus.

Inside the history of Boston’s bygone gay bathhouses  | Xtra Magazine From sexual health support to discreet gathering place, bathhouses were once a small but important part of the city’s gay community

To be a journalism nerd for a second: this piece includes a) a source in his 80s—rare, and b) a historian who happened to work at a bathhouse in a past life. Queer journalism/being our own experts FTW. xtramagazine.com/love-sex/bos...
