Williams says that the bill wouldn't apply to "appropriate drag," and said that it's written in a way that obscenity could be determined by individual law enforcement.
Conservatives *want* the vagary inherent in the law because it makes them, and their police, the arbiter of morality. They don't like the idea of justice being blind.
"Of course we won't go after Shakespeare!" they say honestly, and they're correct.
They'll decide what drag is "appropriate."
This is why the misuse of the term Ghibli-esque makes my eye twitch.
The aesthetics are soft and beautiful, yes. Themes often include such low-stakes conflicts as fighting fascism, the destruction of the environment and battling the depths of depression.
It's easy to succumb to outrage fatigue. But this was four days ago. 2,000 killed. 1.2 million displaced. Entire villages demolished. A 40km 'buffer zone' (10% of Lebanon's territory) annexed. It's barely raised a resigned shrug, but it meets the criteria for war crime. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
Interesting take. Now let's take a look at how this anti-business attitude shaped out for the United States of America from 1932 onwards
He's exactly the asshole that would pretend to be Batman and hire someone else to play a "real" Batman, and, yeah...
When watching the video when you drew the graph I thought that's what I was seeing as we reached that point thinking to myself "Damn, hard ceiling there" before the rest of it kept going onward and downward.
But I do.
Otherwise I die.
Probably still will even while doing so soon.
Tim Curry plays poker with John Goodman in his most iconic role.
Happy 80th birthday to Tim Curry, best known for his work on the fifth season of Roseanne.
Right? If it did it without prompting (and can explain some of its choices) then we start getting to where we should have a conversation about things.
Picard had an authentic saddle in his quarters READY TO GO just in case he encountered space horses
This is true for reasons that I'm pretty sure Shaun knows but wanted the funny post instead, but;
It's best when they have hobbies because that means the characters are developed. The showrunners and writers all have dense information about *who* each of these people are and how they feel and act.
Does it hold up at all? It is certainly a movie that crosses my mind every now and again.
I have not seen. Is there any way you can point me to a crash course of it all?
100 is a pretty good percent.
But they would have to enforce it for it to work.
LLMs are a Fermi filter event, change my mind.
Wonderful. Even better. I love this for all of us.
Are you and Movies the same person, btw? I see no definitive indication on either profile, but you seem like the picture reposts are from the same person. Or is this just a wild coincidence?
Increased from about 1 cup in a standard meatloaf glaze. We're just shifting ingredients around. That's a small detail in my opinion. I'm a sweet/savory combo lover and would probably like this a lot.
And the interesting part, for once, is that this is because of a more educated and politically involved working class demands supporting information to casual claims. Which to be clear is a good thing.
OR is it a meatloaf recipe with flour subbing for the breadcrumbs?
I don't think there's a meaningful difference if you get into it.
I put raisins in my chili and I get a lot of shit for it. Raisins mixing with savory flavors is nothing new.
Meatloaf is a meat cake already. It's got a stronger sweet component here, but that's common for most of them with the sugar glaze, but you're just building the breadcrumbs right in instead of using bread that already existed. That seems like a minor thing in the scheme of it all.
I mean, it has a few weird ingredients as far as meatloaf goes -- but it's got all of the fundamentals of meatloaf: meat, eggs, filler to stretch the meat, and moving the sugar inside of the loaf instead of as a glaze is barely worth notice.
Whereby do you deny its nature?
His cousin already admitted to the crime, James was going thru mental health issues and was on drugs during his questioning by police. This man should not be murdered, no I won't sanitize this by calling it an execution or capital punishment. It's murder.
I mean... that's just pork meatloaf, isn't it?
"Naturally born female" and yet they're selecting which biological attributes count as such, almost as if it's not a binary but a collection of characteristics that exist independent from each other.
They're allowed to to that, but it's maddening that cis people don't understand what this proves.
"As I logged off [from Zoom], all I could think was that my beloved communities of colour are never getting free until men are finally willing to reckon with their complicity with the patriarchy, so this is my attempt at illuminating that, on the off chance that any men are willing to listen."🫂
Again when people pointed out “Western chauvinism” was a euphemism for white supremacy people rolled their eyes and made jerking hand motions while pushing PR for the Proud Boys
