How I Got the Axe with Beau Johnson
Beau Johnson has been a prolific contributor to Shotgun Honey fiction going back to Coffee, Tea and Me. It's been an honor to host over a dozen of Beau's stories, many which include his notorious vigilante Bishop Rider. Much like his anti-hero protagonist, Beau…

Every decade of my career, the tech industry has come up with some new “disruption” that wrecks the livelihood of musicians, siphons off the money and then sells the narrative that this is better for us actually.
With @shudder.com announcing it as the new home for all 7 seasons of TALES FROM THE CRYPT, we thought it was the perfect time to revisit our 10 favorite episodes from the series. #horrorsky
The media arm of the party that is running cover for a pedophilia sex trafficking ring that implicates their president thinks the *real* problem is that not enough teenagers are getting pregnant these days.
A dream come true! Rain's an incredible narrator and I'm delighted for my book to finally be out in audio & become accessible for more readers. Pre-orders are up now.
Thank you, Rain!
Congrats, that's awesome!
I'm tryin ... but it's sure getting rough.
This is so real. I didn't know what I was missing until living in Japan, and I've been depressed basically every day since I came back.
Easily one of my favorite films. Damian McCarthy is clearly one to watch, I also loved Oddity. I'll definitely hit the theater for Hokum if I can.
I'm so tired you guys
I know I sure fucking can't.

pretty clear bright line today, anyone in power who isn't doing everything they can to remove him from office deserves handcuffs when this is all over. that includes any democrat who votes for anything he wants
In all seriousness, one thing that might be worth doing today:
Tell your Reps and Senators to call Adm. Richard Correll, the Commander of U.S. Strategic Command, which controls the nation's nukes, and remind him of *his* unique responsibility to refuse an illegal order.

Men need to women up and know when to help.
This is the domestic violence hand signal.
"we need kids to get an early start operating machines that are routinely wrong and may try to coax them into suicide and/or psychosis" is a fun education perspective i disagree with actually
Happy spring religious colonialism day. The cage match between Jesus and the giant rabbit starts at 3pm Pacific.
As others have said... if you say, "well, I don't use generative AI to write, just as a collaborative editor," you just aren't qualified to be a writer. You're also just plain foolish given that editing like writing is a creative act and one that requires the full concentration of the human brain.
This is absolute trash. Kids are submitting their original art for AP Studio Art classes. Claiming copyright over that work is genuinely evil.
I know this and you know this and we all know this but sometimes you gotta say the obvious thing out loud (so to speak) just so you don’t feel alone or crazy: our president is a deeply unwell and utterly vile man who shouldn’t be in charge of driving a golf cart much less the free world.
I confess I was on the fence about participating last night because I wasn't feeling super hot. I made it about 5 minutes in and tapped out. Didn't give it much of a chance, but not my kind of thing on the face of it, and definitely something I'd have to be a whole lot more in the mood for.
Burn the motherfucker down.
Me too. I've missed too many lately. I looked at my journal and I haven't even watched a movie since the 9th of March.
Guess now we can watch the episode of The Pitt that we missed this week. That seems better than scrolling.
I'll take what I can get. Nice to see you, mate. Sorry I never followed through on Calvaire. The last couple days were real less than good.
Still, though, that was a triumph of a film in terms of mood and imagery. Lovely to behold, and enchanting through most of its runtime. Thanks for the watch, everyone. I needed a little boost and I got it. I almost feel a point or two above undead! Almost! #folkhorrorfriday
Wow. A lot happened in the last third, which went from quite slow to a breakneck pace. Lost on the bizarre deaths, and confused about the ultimate end with Valerie speaking in Elizabeth's voice. May have to go and watch this again as I feel like I must have missed some stuff. #folkhorrorfriday
Super giallo with the fakest of fake blood here at the end and the most ridiculous slitting of the wrists. I'm again wondering if we're supposed to have a supernatural impression of these deaths that seem otherwise impossible. #folkhorrorfriday
