Interesting player and valuable depth for sure. His history makes it look like STL may have been too aggressive with him, a late 1st rounder, only 18 games at AAA before being promoted to majors. He did have a great 2021 year in majors though. Probably gets a chance at some point in ‘25

It’s always a chance but no risk no reward. That said, Davis signing was foolish - don’t extend a 1B/DH with high Ks into their thirties. At least he’s done a lot with his money for charities - so that’s great.

Probably misplaced optimism but I’m getting a feeling that Burnes will return to Baltimore.
