Seeing AI slop on any product in a store has the same effect on me as brightly colored frogs have on birds and snakes. It signals that it's toxic, dangerous and not for consumption.

The Daedalus-class was an early class of Starfleet vessel that was designed with a spherical primary hull. Model by Greg Jein. #startrek #trek #tng #tos. Feel free to follow and share my post.

I don't like captain yachts / aeroshuttles / specialist shuttles attached to the saucer underside.
It's a shuttlebay for just 1 shuttle and can't be used for any other.
To me, it's a waste of space, especially on smaller ships. The Nova saucer shuttle is bigger than the Nova shuttlebay.

The secondary hull of a Daedalus class model sits on a green hobby matte.
The lower portion of a Daedalus class primary hull is shown (planetary sensor?). It sits on a roll of yellow masking tape.
The spine of the Enterprise D with a green arrow pointing to the livery stripes just above the main impulse engine.
The only two non-text livery markings on the model are the detail on the neck and the ring in the lower primary hull dome. Both were too complex to mask and paint (I tried 3 times with the ring. The neck decal apparently comes from the Enterprise D spine.
A Daedalus class model’s engine and strut sit on a green hobby mat. A brass support rod and a set of green and black wires jut from the support. The wires are fed through the engine and out it’s front section.
A 2mm tower LED is clamped with a green wire about to be soldered together. The lower portion of the LED is painted silver to block light anywhere but the tower and to also reflect the blocked light up through the tower. Below is the Daedalus class secondary hull and two attached engines.
Time to glue parts together starting with the engines. I first needed to thread through the wires for the running lights. Then I soldered red and green lighting 2mm tower LEDs in place. They’re clear when unlit. I did this for maximum brightness. Clear paint blocks some light.
One thing that I do see as an absolute achievement is Enfys. In a 16mm form was designed from the ground up by me and spent those glorious days being pulled or propelled around lechfann without a single bind or jam up. The next process is now motorising her!
Recently, my book THEY CALLED US ENEMY was banned – again – in Tennessee. Book bans are out of control. Huge parts of American history are being restricted. To join me in standing up for the freedom to read, go to pen.org/action. @penamerica.bsky.social @topshelfcomix.bsky.social @idwpublishing.com
Now, look here, Donald. I was born during the Great Depression. The tariffs had already happened. And it was over by the time I was five. This is all false.
The front of a Daedalus class primary hull. The livery text reads “U.S.S. Stalwart”.
She has a name! There are three known Daedalus class vessels: Essex, Horizon, and Archon. I printed decals for all of them. But I went with Stalwart, the ship from my fan fiction comic “No Good Deed”.

Not wanting to be overshadowed by the "big trains" up top at Wharf, The Llechfan Garden Railway Gala had an impromptu cavalcade of their own - with WELL over 200 wheels in celebration of Railway 200!
(80+ engines, with 400+ wheels in total - of course ending with Rocket!)

No “President” has a right to strip citizenship and deport people who challenge his policies. That’s fascism, not America.
Been sadly busy lately with little time for personal Daleks, so here's a custom 1970s variant with matte and gloss black livery based on Dalek Sec.

I must be mad. Certainly my M/H has taken a battering getting garments ready for Railway200 photoshoot on Saturday. Two complete uniforms made - one entirely by hand. So here's a sneak preview....
