the fact that L and Light are doomed by the narrative in every iteration of death note and grow close for a short period of time only for everthing to end in ruins has such a death grip on me....

a collection of sketches in a faded blue hue and background from episode 8 of the death note jdrama. there's a sketch of L sitting with his legs crossed, holding up the death note in one hand and looking towards the viewer/Light, looking expressionless. there's another scene of L sadly smiling, as he says, "Then I met you, and forthe first time, I became interest in a person." Next to this sketch is the drawing of Light's expression, which looks tense and quiet and unmoving, with a glint in his eye, with a small text bubble next to him saying "...". The next sketch is with Light with his back to the viewer, and L facing it sideways, looking at Light, looking concerned, saying "Because we're friends, right?" The next sketch is Light drawn from a lower angle, as he hunches over his watch (not visible on the sketch), and crying, his face contorted in pain and sadness, tears and mucus streaming down his face. He shouts "I'd have wanted to be your friend forever!". The sketch underneath this image is L's reaction, as he is lying on the floor, his arm trying to hold him up as he's hunched and holding his torso in pain, with blood on his face and nose and mouth, and on his shirt. There's a closeup of Light's mouth hanging close to L's ears which are read, and Light can be seen smiling, with strings of saliva visible in his mouth,"you DO worship me." L continues to make gasping noises.

The next panel shows them from sideways, Light still fucking L from behind, holding the chain, leaning further into L's back. They are both gasping and blushing, and there are beads of sweat on their bodies and they are twitching and rutting against each other. The next panel shows a closeup of them, with L's mouth hanging open visible, as Light leans, his teeth gritting against each other and he looks angry and flushed and the background darkens as he says "say it or i'll fucking kill you" The next panel shows them from sideways again, the camera zooming in on their heads and shoulders, L still tilting his head upwards in pleasure and pain, gasping and making choking noises. He says, almost devoutly, "Kira", he continues, "Kira I worship you", and continues on, "Kira, you're my god, my only god". Light is leaning onto L's shoulder and still holds the chain. His lips are resting on L's shoulder, his lips gently curving up at the words, and he looks very pleased and worked up by L's words, as he continues fucking L and mutters "f-fuck".

and here i thought tumblr was going to butcher the image quality - here's a closeup of Solas walking through a desert!

the first panel shows the scenery of Skyhold in dragon age inquisition, near where the stables are. the stables and the fort walls are visible, with golden skies and the mountains around Skyhold visible. Solas and Ise'melana are sitting on the edge of the battlements looking down onto the grounds, with Ise'melana dozing off on Solas's shoulders while Solas reads and smiles. The narration says "You do not have to be good." The second panel shows the scene playing out at the end of Trespasser - Isa's hand ablaze, as she reaches towards Solas who is looking sad and slowly making his way towards the eluvian. The narration reads "You do not have to walk on your knees" The next panel shows Solas walking through a desert (assumedly the Western Approach) alone, in his apostate hobo outfit and a very worn our hooded cape that's flung around in the wind. The narration reads "through a hundred miles through the desert repenting."
