mira calix

the end of march this year marked four years since mira calix passed away. now she is in another dimension for me. luckily she left her sounds and many other parts of her creativity here. mira i miss you (strictly in lower case, as you and i like it).

a classic case of underpaid journalism. we support art and stand in solidarity with underpaid journalists (and content creators).

I hope it is only a problem of poorly paid journalists (total support) because if not, not only the Italian press and sources are not up to date... but also those of other countries.

it’s a complex subject but the basic principle is ok. if you have no time (see: no good work, stupid deadlines,..) ineffective* tools are no good. otherwise if you have time: hurray for playfulness and creativity and cheap tools ✨

*β€œcheap” and β€œβ€ineffective” are very layered words :))

I am a poor dreamer: I love the second-hand market for so many things and hope it will become a good resource again :))

that’s right. and it is a pity that these small companies cannot survive in a (more than) dignified manner for them and their customers. there are too many sharks out there. creativity is dying.

is there anyone out there who has heard from porya hatami and siavash hamini? I haven't heard from porya since early march...

every time you listen to/buy music please, do it consciously. does this action really help art and the artist? or is it yet another case of intermediation? this is for whatever method you use to listen and to buy. even youtube, because in some cases the artist is not even asked. #support
