God I cannot wait to play this. Where do you think it will go? You've been developing it for a while now :)

Same, I drive my parents-in-law around and use their blue badge when they're with me. Super useful.

You _were_ getting something special!

As an outsider looking in, it would appear to me that this is going to be unlikely - the Dems seem to be looking at what the reds are doing and thinking "Hrm, we want some of that" and so won't do anything to stop them from doing the same thing when they inevitably get in next time.

A mate of mine had a PS1 while I had an A1200. C&C, Return Fire, Silent Hill... I was well jell, as the kids are wont to say.

C&C on the Amiga will be nice to have, even if I need a pistorm to run it :)

My mum used to say that when times got bad, music got good.

Shadow of the Beast, Amiga, 1989. The boss was so big you could only ever see his toe - so you had to hammer away at that until he died.

Back in the 80s/90s it was incredibly rare for a manufacturer to have to issue an update - there was really no way to get them to the user. In the era of cassette-tape games on home computers it was possible to patch a game with a BASIC stub, but again, quite rare.

Jet Set Willy springs to mind.

Yeah I know that one! Wasn't it by Belinda Carlisle?

Had the Tribal back in about... '04? I think? Bought a flashcart for it and treasured it for a very very long time.

I get what you're saying but the whole "Oversized shoes" thing is so funny and demented at the same time and you couldn't have chosen a better metaphor, IMO, right about now.

Coral City Camera (Miami's Free-Range Aquarium Underwater Livestream) YouTube video by Coral Morphologic

Coral City - a live webcam on a coral reef off Miami. It usually kicks in around 10am UK time - during the night they point the camera upwards - and you're dependent on the water quality but there's some stunning views with all sorts of amazing creatures.

I found the algorithm takes a long time to figure out what you do and don't want to see. I had to mute/block a metric shitload of accounts before I stopped seeing stuff I'm not into.

Seeing a lot of "Not all Americans want war" and yet somehow it's always America.

Ours paraded into our bedroom at 3:30am, announced loudly that she had arrived, jumped onto the bedside drawers and pushed everything - clock, drink of water, book, lamp - off onto the floor some four feet down.

Then she complained that we sent her out for the rest of the night.

Goodness me that would be superb. Let me know how you get on and we'll sort something out.

I have an FTV-1 sitting on my shelf. I wonder if I can get some life into it...

I saw a screenshot of it in a gaming mag waaaay back, was a round-up of Doom clones so probably an Amiga mag and was curious. Wasn't until decades later than I actually got to play it... it was good, and would have blown my mind back in the day.

But it was mac only so no go back then!

The FIRST thing I thought when I saw your previous post was "If anyone is gonna make full use of that, those bolts will have to go or it'll be really uncomfy"

And damn, here we are.

I should point out that he's 14 and his sister is trans, and he is fiercely protective of her which is why he picked up on it.

There's been a couple of occasions where the news has used questionable language. Ex: 6 Music news in the car with my kid; shooter abroad was described as wearing women's clothes. Little 'un said "what does that have to do with anything?"

And he's right. Biased.

Not sure what this is but it looks like the lady on the right is the only one who got all the questions right?

I always thought that I inverted because the first time I played an FPS was long after I had flown a plane (and played Flight sims on a Speccy).

I see it as the difference between pushing the crosshair around like a mouse pointer and moving the whole view - I prefer the whole view I guess.
