it's really not the same... I miss his writing so much I hope they give him the budget to do whatever I'd happily play it...

it sucks so much cus the strength of ace attorney has always been it's characters over the gameplay let's face it right sigh...

there's no soul in it because they don't understand phoenix wright or anyone as a character the thing about the original mainline is that all these characters are grounded and stubborn and flawed and they are so deadly afraid of doing that in 5 and 6 they become paper dolls

I feel like later games all try to make this overlapping case too huge affecting whole countries etc etc when i found it more interesting that the original was more commentary about the justice system in japan also okay im just rambling sorry but yes i agree the individual cases would work so well

yeah I think the original aa games had a good balance of interpersonal drama but with cases to solve and with characters that are goofy but still grounded id love another project spin off like tgaa where they can take that case structure but with a fresh setting and cast

im soo excited there's nothing for it nearby ive always wanted to try it 😭
