GLOCALSA i ELFING van participar a les VI jornades La recerca sociolingüística en l’àmbit de la llengua catalana. Llanes i Borràs hi van presentar un projecte sobre competència global a l’estranger, i Sabaté i Llurda un estudi sobre ideologies lingüístiques del professorat d’anglès (ELF).
Des del febrer, la J. Borràs fa una estada de recerca a la Universitat de Trakya (Edirne, Turquia)🌍, on treballa amb els Drs. E. Güvendir i K. Uzun (entre d’altres!) . Ara ja ha passat l’equador d’aquesta experiència, seguiex gaudint molt de l’experiència, Judith! ✨📚✈️

As Polio (2012) puts it, feedback will be “essentially useless if learners do not have to do anything with [it]” (p. 385). @sonialing.bsky.social and I explored corrective feedback. Findings can be found here: portalrecerca.udl.cat/documentos/6...
What seems to be generally positive are metalinguistic explanations (not simply saying something is wrong, but explaining why) + making sure students have to do something with that feedback (e.g. writing a new version of a text).
Next #CLAminari is on 18 Dec at 11:30 and it’s a very special one: CLA turns 30! 🥳 The celebration will start with a toast 🥂 to 3 decades of CLA, followed by talks by E. Llurda, and G. Vázquez, J.M. Cots & À. Llanes. We’ll close with a festive lunch🍽️
