Happy black dog smiling with tongue hanging out
Happiness isn’t found in seeking wealth, fame, or beauty; it grows from within—through personal growth, meaningful relationships, and good health. And sometimes, it’s as simple as having a dog who loves you.
Do it for the love not the likes.
I didn’t realize the wide spectrum of behaviors and tendencies within each of these trauma response types. Keep this in mind when working with students. #traumainformed #trauma #edchat
What does this mean? #eduskyai
Maybe #laterchat should happen 24 hours after…so like 24 hours late to continue the conversation the next night….
Guess what? I made my first Feed today - and it's for #LaterChat! #EduSky go check out posts that get replied to after the #EduSkyChat has concluded and continue the conversation with us! @karlymoura.com @alicekeeler.com

I love it! Such a great idea.
Love the list! Just curious, is there a time for the #laterchat, or is it just a list of questions/comments to be answered asynchronously? Just trying to understand the goal here :) Thanks for sharing Becky! #eduskychat
Yes, trauma informed education. Thank you!
Thank you for creating this!
I see them. Thank you! I used some of these in class today.
These are great questions! I only see 1, 2, and 4. Now I’m curious what 3 and 5 are :) #eduskychat #traumainformed
Thanks! 🙏
I agree with this. Works on a few different levels. #eduskychat
I’ll have to check this out. Thank you for sharing! #eduskychat
Great work moderating, Chris! 👏👏👏
Thanks to everyone who participated in the #eduskychat tonight! I haven’t done a chat like this in years! I appreciate everyone for sharing and connecting. #edusky
1. Don’t be afraid to fail. 2. Use a similar format to your classes and assignments…students love routine. 3. Find a framework that works for you, like 5e. 4. Use AI to get you started. 6. Iterate! As soon as you see something can be improved, update your assignment for next time. 7. Make sure you provide a rubric so students know how they will be evaluated. 8. Try to create assignments that give students choice, and always add a few extension activities for students who want to go beyond. 9. Try to reflect and keep notes for the next year on how to improve your projects and activities. 10. Practice rigid flexibility.

Thanks Eric! I’ll definitely check this out. 🙏
Do you use canva for that?
I also do the projects along side my students. It helps me help them, discuss techniques and fine tune methods.
A2: My students do a lot of hands-on projects where they are performing hands-on labs, creating models or creating objects for survival. #eduskychat
A1: I have created labs and hands-on activities for students. I can usually find supporting videos for my content, so I haven’t had to create many of those. AI can definitely help in creating new materials from scratch. #eduskychat
Alex from upstate NY, Science Teacher, here to learn more about content creation (and just to support the chat). Thank you for doing this! #eduskychat
I have a question for #eduskychat tonight. What strategies or frameworks do you use to ensure your educational content is both engaging and informative, while catering to different learning styles? #edusky

I can’t believe it’s only 14 school days until the 2 week holiday break. This year is flying by.
Hosting family is rewarding but exhausting - you’re left tired, but with a full heart, ready to get back to work.
