Last day of the Games Lab as part of the Yorkshire Games Festival at the National Science + Media Museum 🕹️👾 it’s been a great week with thousands of attendees popping by to play a range of games created by Yorkshire based game developers! 🧡

It’s the last weekend of our Games Lab at the Yorkshire Games Festival at the National Science + Media Museum! This weekend we have a whole host of developers in attendance to showcase and talk you through their games - so come and take a look! 👾🧡

This edited collection on affect in fandom will be published soon in March. I contributed by writing a reflective chapter on affect and Genshin Impact and its romance mechanic.

One of the greatest things about this collection is that the PDF version be freely available!

This week we are at the Yorkshire Games Festival showcasing 23 games by Yorkshire based games developers at our Games Lab!The Lab is based at the National Science + Media Museum in Bradford from 15-23rd February, so do come down and take a look!👾

So excited to have had my submission accepted for the PhD Consortium as part of this year’s DiGRA Conference in Malta!🇲🇹 My first external and international conference, really looking forward to it ✨

We are happy to announce the History of Games 2025 conference will take place on September 3-5 in Kraków, Poland, organized by joined effort of the Jagiellonian University and the SWPS University
