Shocking.

Cool, he really seems to be working at this.
One million percent
Oh you two
No doubt there will be some of this, especially with smaller companies.
I must say, -8C this morning was not what I was looking for this morning but I still love the Maritimes.
What did General Washington have done to his troops again?
Not trying to pile on to your bad day but yeah. I remember watching it live on black and white TV back in the day.
Eff I feel old now.
It's definitely a different vibe, I bet. Have you tried looking through Lists?
There's more to my opinion and knowledge than what I've said about those two tools but can't really discuss. I'm talking about the stuff that many people would be familiar with.
Had to double check, correct.
Sure, I get it. Kiddie bike with training wheels.
Where in NB?
All I can say is that my employer is making quite a good effort for responsible use.
I'm sorry if this disappoints you or causes you to block me or not want to follow me. But that's where my head is at.
I have moved from violently opposed to Gen AI to cautious. There's no doubt that directly or indirectly it's caused harm to people I care about. People and corporations still need to take responsibility for when and they use AI.
Do I think Gen AI tools should be banned because of the harm they've done? Not sure. Do I think more governance and regulation is needed? Absolutely.
Do I have issues with how the tools were built and how they're sometimes used? And how much waste of electricity, heat and water they can use? Absolutely. I don't know to reconcile this with their potential utility.
I do think that Gen AI and other tools can serve useful purposes. Are they worth using for those purposes? That's very much an it depends question.
Much like an assembly line or complex machine, the stuff needs serious governance and guardrails or else it can cause serious problems.
Also following the above analogy, you also need to know how to use it with skill, both through learning and practical experience, especially the more complex stuff
So yes, I've been using MS Copilot a lot lately and also experimenting with Google Gemini. Much of it is for work related reasons. I'm hardly an expert with either and I'm mainly using Chat modes while doing some dead simple stuff with Agentic AI. A few thoughts:
It's great when it really does sound like a rip.
Following two people who might be arch enemies, trying to figure out how many block lists I'll be put on.
Are you back to where you once belonged?
Well, who would have thought?
Good morning to everyone else still trying to figure out Tuesday.
No good
