finally beginning to average sub-minute on 4x4. getting consistent times in the mid 50s. this solve yesterday was my third sub-50
my 3x3 times are improving too. went from averaging around 18 to averaging 15-16 just about overnight. the improvements are really coming fast right now
some people take software choices way too seriously. i've seen takes along the lines of "you are an ontologically bad person if you use paid software on a linux machine." like honestly just use what works best for you. ignore the online flame wars, they're full of people who have too much free time

yeah i have a focal elex that i don't really use anymore, it was my favorite for about a year. ive heard the headbands are fragile but luckily haven't had any issues with mine

I've never experienced Cyberpunk like that. It was so, so memorable. It was very special to me, and for a brief couple hours I felt like I was a visitor to Night City for the first time, having my breath taken away by the sheer size and scale of everything.

I would park my car about a kilometer away from my destination and just walk on the sidewalk. Obeying crosswalks, looking both ways before crossing the street. It took me forever to get where I was going because I kept getting distracted with cool stuff I saw on the way.

I saw some really interesting storefronts that I would've loved to go into if they let me. Saw some people spraying graffiti. Did you know there's a mental health center in NC you can enter? Did you know that there's an actual park near Corpo Plaza with trees and ponds and footpaths?

The first thing I noticed is how small I felt. Seeing the skyscrapers towering over me, blocking out the sun. I was just another person in a sea of NC residents. I saw so many cool things you'd never see if you didn't stop to smell the roses. Watched a guy play a steel drum for a while.

After being inspired by @anyaustin.bsky.social I launched up my favorite game tonight, Cyberpunk 2077, and just took a stroll through the streets of Night City. Funnily enough, I've never just walked through the city taking in the sights. Always been busting my ass to get to an objective.
