We’d love people’s input to this! 👇 Where are the UK public sector reformers?

Help map the movement so that we can work out together how best to support it.

Grateful for RTs

Seeing like a place Place-based work can be smarter and less bureaucratic, but can it rise to the political moment?

Seeing like a place. A weekend share of this. Some reflections from great summit on child poverty last week. More local approaches can be more intelligent and intentional, but can they rise to the gravity of the political moment?

🌠 @georgiagould.bsky.social’s keynote was a real highlight of #StrongerThings 2025.

She spoke about her determination to create sustainable change.

And about building a movement for public service reform – Test, Learn and Grow.

At @neweconomics.bsky.social, we've written about how this model could be applied to improving employment support for ill & disabled people... 🧵

Wise words from James as ever. Particularly on the language required to do this work and communicate it to a variety of different audiences

Few planners would argue that it was the only problem (non I’ve worked with) and stripping out capacity and capability in complexes systems which are priorities through outsourcing gets you nowhere, whatever policy framework you chose

Though planning is also under resourced and outsourcing of public services as a successful strategy is…well..contested let’s say

The D&D gang are brilliant too. Some amazing pods as well. Our household fav is Three Black Haflings which seems to do for mine whatever the NME did for me www.3blackhalflings.com
