Sold multiple copies of JURASSIC PARK, THE BLUES BROTHERS and DEAD POETS SOCIETY...
Biggest filmmaker of the day was probably Peter Jackson tho - sold all the LOTR, MEET THE FEEBLES, DEAD ALIVE and THE FRIGHTENERS
Sunday flea market was good. Sold a bunch of VHS and even had repeat customers from last year saying they'd been looking for me. Fun to watch people browse, though nobody seems to share my particular tastes.
Also got sunburnt.
Unexpected earworm of the week - Poundcake by Van Halen. Dunno the last time I even thought of that song but heard it in an antique mall in Southern Missouri a couple days ago and it's been persistent
The TRANCERS franchise needs to continue even if they're only 30 minute installments just so we can keep enjoying the punny titles
I've certainly heard of some of the other films but hadn't realized they were his and hadn't been interested enough to look
Would read/watch
Surprised I've not watched any of his subsequent pictures
Pow-wow Ow-ow
Maybe I shouldn't be so surprised as I enjoyed NADJA and THE ETERNAL and then apparently stopped looking for Almereyda titles after HAMLET. I am part of the problem
After the splash NADJA made, I was surprised THE ETERNAL seemed to slip by relatively unnoticed. Strong stuff!
I saw you there
I'd write tie-in novels for the single season F/X TV show TERRIERS or a series called BLUE ROSE TASK FORCE featuring Agent Chet Desmond from Twin Peaks (TP is hardly niche but Desmond is a minor character)
