Estinien sits on the steps, his hair pulled back into a ponytail and wearing semi-casual clothes. "Still as impressive as ever. Your discipline rivals even mine."

Kalila turns to him, stretching an arm across her chest. "Estinien. I'd forgotten that as a dragoon, you have no need for doors..."

He stands, crossing the room to her and pulling her into his arms. She hugs him back, burying her face in his shoulder as she speaks. "I've missed you. More than you know."

She looks up to see Estinien standing nearby, attired much more suitably for the climate in leather trousers, boots, and a shirt. "I suppose Alphinaud told you where to find me?"

Estinien's expression is calm and unreadable as he regards her. "He did. May I join you?"

Her tone remains even as she answers him. "I did promise you that we could talk. I don't like breaking my word. Sit down."

K'rina tends to express herself more with her facial features than her hands (micro-expressions and such), but if she feels strongly enough about something she will start to use her hands to emphasize her points. It's a good gauge on how passionate she is about something.

K'rina's with Missy on this one. She's very much like "Fuck you and your goal. YOU deal with it if it's that important to you. I'M going back for Thancred. Catch up to me when you grow a spine."

My girl isn't pulling her punches by that part of the game. She's at the end of her rope and patience.

And if you get stuck on a scene... try it again from a different POV or work on a different one until the writer's block passes. It's okay to be a little out of order and messy. You'll eventually stitch it all together into a cohesive whole.

Write it down now, make it pretty later.

And don't be afraid of deleting sections and re-writing them. Often when you do that the scene comes out better because the parts you didn't like are purged in the re-write and the parts you did are polished. Just... write down that first draft!
