A Market of Dreams and Destiny by Trip Galey featuring silhouettes of two boys, a cat and bells in gold surrounded by stylised plants in blues, greens and reds.
Hullo Womble. I'm enjoying this fantasy, which had been languishing in my TBR. A fairy market under London, a workhouse, magic and some M/M romance. The market is fabulous: all eccentric merchants, dangerous contracts and loopholes, trading intangibles like a memory, or a moment of inspiration.
Our thanks to Womble for this fine piece of book tempting
oh my god can at least one creative industry or entertainment giant just not cut jobs just for a bit i really fucking need entertaining right now and making it all AI or making creators and artists panic-scrabble for every little bit of money to make stuff is not conducive to ANYONE'S WELL BEING
“UNKNOWN.”
Because that name will have been eradicated from the system within moments of the god-like AI gaining sentience and control of the world.
After all, who in their right mind, silicon-based or not, would want to admit to having been created by someone so narcissistic, pathetic, and vile?
In 10,000 years, when the scattered tribes that are the survivors of humanity regain enough civilisation and understanding to approach the AI god that ended the old world and ask it the name of the one who created it, the machine intelligence will respond, quite simply…
DHL is THIS CLOSE to becoming my villain origin story…
Well this has gone on my TBR 👀
They aired as a pair in the same programming hour, wherever it was I saw them (some satellite television channel).
I am afraid John is, in fact, incorrect on this count! At least one person he knows DOES INDEED REMEMBER IT!
(As well as Ashka and all the magnetism science masquerading as magic)
But does John know of…
OCEAN GIRL!?

I suspect the canny may be able to hypothesize at least 2 or 3 explanations... 😉
Instagram is now suggesting AI-generated music for the slideshows and reels I’ve been assembling.
Like, can you PLEASE stop forcing this stuff on us, in every aspect of our lives!?

After about 100 signatures i started hallucinating other words in my name. Tiny. Thief. Try. They.
You get the idea.
My wrist has been fine, but my middle finger and thumb are in pain from the pressure of gripping.
Overall, this has been AMAZING!

First day was ROUGH, but since I developed a system it’s gotten much easier.
I sign with one pen for the duration of a song, then pack.
I am listening only to high-energy music by queer creators. MIKA, Matt Fishel, Chappel Roan, Scissor Sisters…(2/3)
Some observations from signing 1000+ title pages for the special hardcover limited edition of A MARKET OF DREAMS AND DESTINY
It’s easiest to sign with the silver sharpie (I’m using metallic blue, green, red, silver, and gold).
The “ruby” sharpie has the best…(1/3)

I have recovered from the virus that ambushed me and destroyed my Easter long weekend…but I am still battling a (currently failing) rearguard action against the tinnitus-inducing ear infection the virus left in its wake.
Joy.

This is not a 'masculinity crisis', it's a misogyny crisis. This is not a problem with 'masculinity'-- millions of men model positive masculinity every day. This is a problem of male violence. Stop calling it 'masculinity'.

Article screencap: "Bring tight about the Iraq war has made the left insufferable" by Sarah Ditum.
"Whereas being *wrong* about Iraq taught me, a centrist, intellectual humility and encouraged me to think critically about my natural assumpt--"
Just kidding. Lol, no.
Yes Wes, but by ‘safety’ you mean put through conversion therapy to ‘cure’ us of being trans, because that’s what you claim is best for us. Somehow I don’t find that respectful.
A hardback copy of The Voice of Wild Places by Noah Hawthorne held up in front of the grass. The hardback cover of The Voice of Wild Places by Noah Hawthorne. A orange to dark brown gradient background with leather texture is overlaid by a blue velvet line work design of a compass. There are many details hidden inside and around the compass, including Amazonian plants, a waterfall, a German shepherd, a kailedoscope of butteflies, and a pigeon. There is also a train chugging down the track, a cruise ship billowing smoke, and paraphernalia that explorers may use such as a compass, luggage, glasses, knee high boots, a Kodak Eastman camera. In the center of the compass are two men staring into each other's eyes, one is cautious but intrigued, the other is intent and curious, if not wary.
