I’m reading For Brown Girls with Sharp Edges and Tender Hearts and it’s so healing! I relate to so many of her experiences. This is a book I needed when I was in college. I’m glad it exists now.

I tried so hard to read this book, but I DNF’d it like halfway through for the reasons you listed

Currently reading the Love Songs of W.E.B. Du Bois and it’s so good! The audiobook being 30 hours long almost stopped me from picking it up, but once I started, I was invested in the characters. Amazing writing!

Emailing people back has been hard for me lately. I now understand why sometimes I don’t hear back from people and I empathize

Update: she read for 65 minutes yesterday. altogether, she’s read 195 minutes since the beginning of June. She’s definitely getting a squishmallow soon.

When she reaches 400 minutes, she’ll get a free book.
