ugh and the worst is if you don't engage they act like you're out of touch or oblivious to what's going on. like no I value my sanity and I would lose my marbles if I kept up with every little thing that is bad going on. it gets depressing! you can be informed of reality w/o making it your 24/7

like yes the world sucks but go out + help, even donating a bag of fruit/volunteering at your local library for just an hour a week helps! I do so much & I still dislike the world. ppl who are able to have to be the change they want to see in the world instead of feeding the negative dumpster fire

same esp for political stuff. posting the same rants daily meanwhile they make 0 effort to help anyone, volunteer, donate food, even just small stuff. but no just rants online 24/7. my mom has a friend who hates our state rep (which - he isnt that great so its fair) but does nothing about it
