Wanna feel some hope for the future? If you are in the Cincinnati/NKY area come to Formative: A Collection of Regional K-12 Ceramics at Core Clay in Norwood, OH! You will see wonderful artwork by students and teachers. The kids are honestly more all right than you think.

Felt good to stab a sharp tool over and over again to carve this stoic reminder at the Emily Cooper workshop tonight.

I know the country is crumbling but isn’t it nice when the bottom of your mug has a cute l’il design?

Insomnia wouldn’t be so bad if I wasn’t a teacher. With a 5:30 wake up time. And a half hour commute. Should be a great Monday! 😂😂😂😂😭😭😭😭😭🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

Well, that’s fair. It feels that way. A lot. And maybe we won’t. In the meantime, let’s plan as if we do. Even if hope seems futile it is still what moves us forward.

I feel like what we need now is less someone to stand AGAINST (because duh) and more leaders to stand WITH.
Mills.
Crockett.
Pritzker.
Buttigieg.
AOC.
Beshear.
Who else is leading in a way that is both resistance and visionary leadership? I need to know we can move forward beyond the fight.

What I love is that we are building a LIST of smart, strong leaders and I can’t say that was as clear in recent years. Pete is one of them, for sure!

That’s true. I love him for us and we need him to protect us from our own legislators. Let’s keep him. But everyone else should know that Kentucky has an awesome Governor! 🔵

Evelyn is about to have a big presence in my work. She can get it.

Yes! Janet Mills for President. Maybe VP Pritzger. Or Crockett. Also my awesome governor Andy Beshear. I’m seeing the leaders emerge that I want for the future.

Keith Haring died of AIDS aged 31 on 16 Feb 1990.
One of his last works, Unfinished Painting, was deliberately incomplete, reflecting the devastating, unquantifiable loss to the arts due to AIDS.
