On World Health Day, we’re standing with science.

Politicians should not have a say in our personal health care decisions — including decisions about sexual health, pregnancy, and gender-affirming care. Patients’ medical decisions should be between them and their health care providers. Full stop.

Missouri senator revives ‘personhood' amendment criminalizing abortion • Missouri Independent More than 20 people testified in support of the proposed ban, driving from all corners of the state to condemn abortion exceptions in any form.

SJR 72 is a constitutional amendment that would redefine the word “person” in Missouri to include every human being “from the moment of conception.” This proposed resolution attempts to ban abortion, and threatens essential reproductive health care, including access to contraception and IVF.

Tell Committee Members: Vote NO on SB 861 and SB 999

Now is the moment to raise our voices again. Email committee members and demand policies grounded in medical fact, compassion, and respect, not fear, stigma, or political ideology. ⬇️

These bills ignore science, doctors, and families, and if they sound familiar, it’s because they keep coming back year after year — these lawmakers are counting on exhaustion. But Missourians are organized, informed, and ready to fight back.

➡️SB 861 attacks evidence-based health care and would make Missouri's ban on gender-affirming care for minors permanent.
➡️SB 999, also known as the “Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act,” would undermine medical judgment, spread misinformation, and advance a dangerous anti-abortion agenda.

🧵 Evidence-based health care is being attacked once again. On Wednesday, the Senate Families, Seniors, and Health Committee heard two more overreaching bills. ⬇️
