It's a rare moment when I really like to draw something where there's not even a hint of darkness✨

You'd think with me owning a full collection at one point and investing a lot into animal stuff as a kid would result in me being a zoologist of some kind. But nope, I found my niche with writing and world building. Some day I'll do something with that.

There wasn't any real sense of what a jester was for outside of entertainment. Ordinary folk didn't go to war. So these jesters found themselves chained to beds and eating out of dog bowls. The jester profession became so dangerous that many changed to theater, resulting in the first harlequinades.

Indeed. I do say 1700's because Jesters weren't actually abused by royalty whatsoever. They had a dangerous job as war messengers, sure, but the royalty they served for treated them well.

In the 1700's, people began copying royalty for fun. That included owning jesters. Except... (1/2)

I remember being one of the very first kids to collect all the cards and they invited me to their office to talk to me and give me a survey. I remember it feeling really great to go there and leaving rather uneventful. Still, it was okay.
