started my second internship🎉🎉 last time I was mostly working on client manuscripts but this time I'm looking at a LOT of queries and it's so fun to see them all!

tho as a writer, it also makes me appreciate just how few fulls can actually be requested because WOW are there a lot of queries😅

Disabled and neurodivergent folks have always made art, so when you use them as a shield to defend AI and say the “need” it, you’re an asshole on top of a thief. Hope that helps. Have a wonderful day!

as an example, someone who recently disagreed with me about using ai for writing told me one of his reasons for supporting it was that it's useful for autistic people who otherwise struggle

he didn't know I am autistic and to his credit he did rethink this particular angle after I replied

mini book haul🤩

José Esteban Muñoz’s work has had a huge impact on the way I understand queerness and I’m so excited for Amplitudes.

Forest Euphoria popped up as a “related read” and it’s giving Staying with the Trouble vibes so I had to grab it😌

Somehow we're about to hit Pride month! 🌈

Which unfortunately means Off Limits Press is about to close down. May 31st is your last chance to get my cosmic horror WORM trilogy or my space horror standalone in print or ebook.

After that, they'll only be available in audio until they find new pubs.

Nancy Mace: I want our kids to learn about a-e-i-o-u instead of l-g-b-t-q.

Zoe Rose Bryant: Hi, pre-k teacher here. No need to worry, Nancy. It's in our curriculum to cover all the letters. This week we're working on s-t-f-u.

No exceptions. If you use Gen A I in any capacity whatsoever, you suck.

Yes, the way you're using it too. You're not special.

So if I am getting this right:
Thursday the librarian of Congress was fired.
Friday the copyright office rushed out a draft report suggesting genAI training on copyrighted works shouldn’t be legal.
Saturday the head of the copyright office is fired.

Grad student Leto remembers his life all wrong. When bodies start piling up—including his own—his investigation leads him to a secret society that abuses an ancient power for financial gain. That power has a voice, and it speaks to Leto: some people deserve to be eaten.
