I am in same boat (replacing M1 MBA) but it’s all about the RAM for me. Wondering if 32 is even enough.

ghostree — Worktree-Aware Terminal for Ghostty Worktree-aware terminal for Ghostty with changeset diffing and agent notifications. Switch branches, manage worktrees, and see what changed.

Manual. But a lot of the work I do is on established projects so it's more independent tasks than an orchestration of one large feature/app.

For new projects, I might just work in single thread, because I care about the decisions at the beginning.

Log of HTTP requests showing a lot of traffic from Apple-allocated IP ranges.

It seems like Apple has started to aggressively crawl, maybe with their own LLM crawler/indexer. I've never seen this much traffic from them before. Early indication of them launching their own LLM?

Worktrunk CLI for Git worktree management, designed for parallel AI agent workflows.

The worktrunk.dev tool seems to fit my flow.

I couldn’t handle this. I ended up going to work trees with a cli to help manage them and it’s been ok.

Who's going to @codebeam.bsky.social Vancouver? Would be great to start organizing possible activities/etc ahead of time. #myelixirstatus #elixirlang #beam #erlang #gleam

I use Bear for everything except grocery lists I share with the wife (which I use apple Notes for).

I'd never heard of this service before (which, I mean, isn't surprising considering the number of services Azure/AWS has), but it's a cool experiment! Thanks for sharing.

Very cool! I didn't even realize Azure Relay Hybrid Connections were a thing.

I've been typically using Tailscale for this, just for convenience and not having to worry about key management.

Cool feature but I found it too obtrusive, and had to disable it :(

I'm just starting Buy Back Your Time by Dan Martell.

I've been refreshing my algorithm knowledge by reading A Common-Sense Guide to Data Structures and Algorithms. 2/3 way through. Enjoying it.

I've been slowly picking through The BEAM Book - Understanding the Erlang Runtime System. Good but deep.

I've been enjoying Ghostty.

That fits with the timeline I've been seeing it too. Actually threw me off the first time until I saw it showing 'merged'.

Cool! But also, booo! I've been working on a little sideproject to solve this that's super close to launching 🤣 DOA.

I don't even necessarily think we should move off bugs.r-l.org for development, just that if we wanted to know what the community position was, that discussion on bugs.r-l.org is likely an unsatisfactory method for reach.

I'm likley not the only one. Maybe it's different if you're a Ruby maintainer.

But how many people are like me, and have ideas to improve, but are not looking to go to another service to create an "issue".

Anyways, if I think of an organization to advocate for Ruby, maybe code is lower priority.

For engagement initially, I had envisioned at least a survey of some sort. High level, related to how people use Ruby, what works for them, what isn't.

For bugs.r-l.org, the experience feels sterile. I've been writing Ruby since 2005/2006 and I don't even remember if I have a bugs.r-l.org account.

I actually feel like you've hit on exactly the first step. Engage with the community. How can things be improved? Maybe the first use of extra $$ isn't paying for code, but paying to engage with the community on a field that's not bugs.r-l.org.

Ohh. Grilled chicken? That makes sense.

There seems to be an ongoing removal of grilled chicken from menus.

Are we unique in our grilled snack wraps? Now I'm questioning if I'm missing out on something.
