OK, a few things on this absurdity:
1. The 2020 Census was conducted by the Trump administration.
2. The only systematic results of undercounts that the Census has acknowledged were undercounting communities of color in almost all states.

The results of the 2024 House race illustrate the power of gerrymandering and the importance of redistricting reforms.
The final House race was called, putting the House at 220R-215D.
In 2016, Republicans held a 47 seat majority(!) despite the national congressional vote total looking very similar to the razor thin margin this year.
